Kingo Mining Company To Pay SLMA $21M
During Parliamentary oversight function by the Parliamentary Committee on Transport and Aviation, chaired by Hon. Ambrose Maada Lebbie, the Senior Manager at the Sierra Leone Maritime Administration (SLMA) disclosed that Kingo Mining Company owed the said institution twenty-one Million dollar.
This was revealed during an oversight by the Parliamentary Committee on Transport and Aviation chaired by Hon. Maada Lebbie.
It was disclosed by Senior Manager at SLMA, Abdul Samura, that despite multiple invoices sent to Leone Rock Metal Group (LRMG), the company has woefully refused to pay the aforesaid sum.
There is also alleged issue of $8 Million dollars surface rent, which is yet to be paid by Leone Rock.
