Inter Area Children Sport Meeting End in Grand Style

 Foundation has on Saturday 28th December, 2024 ended their third annual inter Area Children Sport Meeting at the Africa Muslim Agency  Kissy, Freetown.

The said annual sport meeting had over the years gain momentum resulting to an increase to the houses that participated in this year’s Sport Meeting.

Haja Aminata Foundation yearly inter Area Children Sport Meeting comprised of eleven houses , namely, Samai’s house, Isha Kamara house,X – The Mystyq house,Foday Boie, Haja Neneh house, Junior Cole’s house,Abu Baja house, Jah Family house, Harold Nat-Johnson house , Abu ball iye house,Haja Dankey house and Ernest Cassel house battled for supremacy for the champions of the 2024 Haja Aminata Foundation yearly inter Area Children Sport Meeting.

Names of individuals of the various houses are household names in the Kissy community and it’s environs that had and continues to contribute to community development in their own little ways, community sources intimated this medium.

This cannot be unconnected to the reasons why the Haja Aminata Foundation decided to recognized them in such a special way, inside sources from the foundation whispered to this medium.

Christian Kargbo, Sports and Games Director, Haja Aminata Foundation stated in an interview with this medium that the 2024 annual inter Area Children Sport Meeting he is organizing as Director , Games and Sports.

He highlighted challenged during the preparative stage of the sport meeting but noted that those challenges were summoned, stating the motive behind the event is to put smiles on faces of children.

He assured that his position will not influence the outcomes of the meeting adding that he has choosed community individuals that are knowledgeable to handle the affairs of the sport.

Called on house masters to accept the outcomes because, according to him, the decisions of the georges will be very Fair.

He disclosed that every athletic is provided with a life card to put to an end the habit of depriving children that have trained for the sport for those that do not.

The life card will be given to children that went through the training sessions, Christian Kargbo noted.

Adama, member of Haja Aminata Jalloh Foundation said she always felt good when smiles are on children faces because they are country’s tomorrow leaders.

She described herself as a daughter to the Chief Executive Officer, Haja Aminata Jalloh Foundation who she said is a role model and mentor, hence the reason she is happy to witnessed the event.

She appreciate the resources and time that the house masters and organizers have invested into the whole event.

She pledged her continues support to the house foundation.

Victor Williams, house master X-The MystQ house, one among the new house competing in this year’s sport.

He said if becomes champions they will celebrate and if they are not fortunate, they will prepare well for the coming sport meeting.

William lauded the initiative of the CEO, Madam Mahawa Wurrie as it is always good and pleasant to put smile on the faces of children.

Mariatu Bangura, house, mistress of Ernest Cassel house (White) disclosed that they had been participating in the previous sport meetings consistently ending as runners up (second position)

According to Bangura, the administrative aspects of the sport meeting is improving year in and out as refreshment were made available to children in this year’s sport meeting.

The said house had been also participating in the Inter Area Children Sport Meeting.

Encourages the CEO not to relent in her pursuit to be bringing smile on the faces of children and prayed for Allah’s provisions and good health.

Surprisingly, the management, house owners at home and abroad made available prices to all of the athletes.

The Ernest Cassel’s house were crowned champions for the 2024 inter area children sport meeting sponsored and organize by the Haja Aminata Jalloh Foundation with Haja Dankay house as runners up (second position).
