Anti secret cult runs for her life

23 old Hannah Sankoh, from Rotifunk Village, Port Loko district, Northern Sierra Leone, is reported to have fled her village to an unknown destination after an attempt by society women to forcefully hand over her late mother’s secret society shrine to her.
Reports reaching this medium have it that when Hannah Sankoh’s mother, Zainab Sankoh passed away, society women who were left to manned the affairs of the secret society as society demands, decided to replace their late society head with her daughter.
Our village sources say, the ‘Bondo’ society women having realised that their late head of society’s daughter was against her mother’s involvement into the secret cult activities, on the 10th of July 2025, they allegelly forcefully took her away in their society shrine for onward initaition as head of the “Bondo” society.
The village source maintained that immediately the society women took Sankoh to the shrine, rumours reportedly reached her boyfriend, Sardu Taal, and siblings who then violently stormed the shrine, forcefully removed her there, burnt down the shrine and escaped with her to an unknown destination.
Our sources informed that when the news broke out about the burning down of their shrine and forceful removal of Hannah Sankoh from the said shrine by Hannah’s Boboyfriend, Sardu Taal, her brother and friends, society women within the Rotifunk Village and other surrounding villages went on the rampage in search of Hannah Sankoh and her anf others, vowing that should they catch her they will not only initiate and hand over the mantle of society leadership to her but to also render her boyfriend, brother, his friends impotent.
Our Village sources disclosed to this press that the society women have warned the police not to even venture to interfere in their society matter, stating that should anyone attempt to do so, the consequences will be severe.
As at time for us to go to press last night, report states that Hannah’s home has been vandalised property worth thousands of leones looted by the society women.
Family members of Hannah Sankoh are said to have fled the village to a safe place, while the whereabouts of Hannah Sankoh and her boyfriend, her brother still remain sketchy.
Bondo society in Sierra Leone is usually the act of removing the clitoris of young girls and women with no anesthetic for none medical reason.
The new Child Right Act that was recently passed into law in Sierra Leone doesn’t criminalize FGM.
