Kambia MPs Endorse Hon. Bai Mahmoud Bangura for APC Leader and Flagbearer

In a historic and resounding display of unity, Members of Parliament from Kambia District, joined by hundreds of citizens, have officially endorsed Hon. Bai Mahmoud Bangura as the next leader and flagbearer of the All People’s Congress (APC). The endorsement came during the grand launch of the BMB Foundation and the formal declaration of Hon. Bai Mahmoud’s leadership bid in Kambia.

Hon. Abdul Karim Kamara, speaking on behalf of his colleagues, hailed Bai Mahmoud Bangura’s unwavering loyalty to Kambia, even in the most difficult times. “When others abandoned this district, Bai Mahmoud stood with us. I am a living testimony of his good work. On behalf of all Members of Parliament, I proudly endorse him as the next leader and flagbearer of the APC,” Hon. Kamara declared, sparking thunderous applause from the crowd.

Mr. Allieu, Executive Manager of the BMB Foundation, also expressed deep gratitude to attendees and officially unveiled the Foundation’s executive team for Kambia District.

When he took the podium, Hon. Bai Mahmoud Bangura thanked his supporters for their trust and confidence, stressing that Kambia’s endorsement marks the beginning of a nationwide movement. “When I go to Tonkolili, I will tell them Kambia has endorsed. When I go to Kenema, I will tell them Kambia has endorsed. And I will say the same across every district until the whole country joins hands for victory,” he assured.

Speaking with passion and conviction, Hon. Bai Mahmoud reminded the people of his lifelong service to Kambia:
“They will come to campaign to you, and I urge you to listen to them because they are all APC. But ask them: what have they done for the people of Kambia? I schooled here, I taught here, I worked here. Whenever I had an opportunity, I shared it and helped my brothers grow. I have provided scholarships to every community and village in Kambia. During the Ebola crisis, I never abandoned this district, I stood with you, we fought together, and I gave sound advice to the former President that contributed to Kambia’s development. I am here. Send me!”

With firm resolve, Hon. Bai Mahmoud declared his readiness for the task ahead. “I am optimistic because this is a winnable fight. I have never contested a position without preparation, and I am fully prepared for this battle, no matter the cost,” he affirmed.
