WOMAN WAS CHARGES TO COURT FOR POSSESSION OF DRUGS

On Thursday 18 September 2025, Magistrate John Manso Fornah at Pademba Road Magistrate court No.1 remanded Monica kumba for “unlawful possession of prohibition drugs”
The accused is facing one count charges, possession of a prohibited drug without lawful authority contrary to section 8 (a) of the national drug control act 200, act no.10 of 2008.
According to the charge details, Monica kumba kalwandi, on Tuesday 29 July, 2025, at the entrance of the male correctional center, pademba Road freetown, was found in possession of one hundred and sixty five (165) Tablet of Tramadol without lawful authority.
John Umar Pw3 testifying before the court, according to his testimony,he live at new London up kosson town freetown, he is D/pc 13682 Umar J, attach to the Transnational organized Crime unit hastain freetown, he is a crime writer Regarding of case and enquiry file, to take record as exebit to tender in court.
He recall on the 4 August 2025, he was on duty at togo, when D/PC 15045 Amara M attached to the Anti drugs cindecate unit at togo brought to the office one hundred and sixty five (165) pink color tablet suspected to be tramadol, he then register the exbit against series no.15-2025, the forensic hanerlist took ten tablet for forensic examination, the remaining one hundred and fifty five (155) has been in police costudy, he now wish to tender it in court.
Produce and tender as exebit F1-5.
Magistrate John Manso Fornah denied bail due to the seriousness of the matter and adjourn to Thursday 25 September 2025.
