In a powerful show of unity and political momentum, thousands of Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) delegates and supporters gathered on Friday, 25th July 2025, at the party’s Western Area headquarters to officially endorse Jimmy Batilo Songa’s candidacy for National Chairman. Widely regarded as a strategic powerhouse within the party, Songa’s declaration drew enthusiastic crowds, signaling his strong position ahead of the 2028 general elections.
Jimmy Batilo Songa’s endorsement event at the SLPP Western Area office proved to be a turning point in the party’s preparations for the 2028 elections. Thousands of loyalists, delegates, stakeholders, and grassroots supporters filled the venue, demonstrating not only his popularity but also his formidable organizational strength.
