With a Doctor of Public Health (Dr.PH) from Walden University, his academic and professional journey reflects a deep commitment to improving lives both at home and abroad. His groundbreaking research on Type II Diabetes Mellitus among African immigrants highlights his focus on addressing pressing health disparities, especially within marginalized communities.
For over 20 years, Dr. Fofanah has led impactful development initiatives across Sierra Leone. From constructing community centers, hospitals, mosques, churches, and schools, to awarding scholarships for undergraduate and postgraduate students, his service-oriented approach has touched countless lives. His efforts to provide clean drinking water across eight districts and feed vulnerable populations
especially the elderly, persons with disabilities, and struggling families
