Africell Launches Ramadan Show ‘Na Yu Get’
with Cash Prizes and Rice Giveaway

Africell Sierra Leone has launched its highly anticipated Ramadan Show, Na Yu Get, offering a total of 500,000 new Leones in cash prizes to subscribers nationwide.
The official unveiling took place at Africell’s headquarters on Pivot Street, Wilberforce Village, Freetown, where company executives reaffirmed their commitment to rewarding customers and fostering the spirit of Ramadan.
A Tradition of Giving Back
Abdul Karim Sesay, Africell’s Media Manager, described the initiative as a continuation of the company’s tradition of engaging and educating subscribers during Ramadan. He assured customers that this year’s edition would be even more exciting, reflecting Africell’s dedication to giving back.
Joe Abass Bangura, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, highlighted the company’s longstanding culture of celebrating key occasions such as Valentine’s Day, Christmas, and Ramadan. He emphasized that this year’s show is particularly significant, coinciding with Africell’s 20th anniversary in Sierra Leone and 25 years in Africa.
“We are making this Ramadan extra special by celebrating subscribers who have been with Africell for two decades,” Bangura stated.
How to Participate
Kamada Koroma, Africell’s Marketing and Communications Manager, announced that Na Yu Get will air live every weekday from 8 PM to 9 PM on AYV TV, Africell’s Facebook page, Afriradio, and major radio stations.

John Konteh, Director of Communication and Marketing at Afrimoney, revealed a major rice distribution initiative to support subscribers during the holy month.
Afrimoney will distribute five cups of rice to 20,000 people across the country using two dedicated trucks—one in Freetown and another for the provinces.
“To qualify, customers must purchase a Ramadan bundle for Le10 and dial 1616*4#,” Konteh explained. Participants will also receive airtime, data, and SMS bonuses upon claiming their rice packages.
