Vice President Dr. Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh Assesses Port Operations in Freetown

During the visit, Dr. Jalloh was given a guided tour of the port facilities, observing ongoing operations and infrastructure developments. The Director General provided an overview of the authority’s strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency, security, and trade facilitation.
As part of the tour, the Vice President visited the port’s transit point to assess the movement of goods through the facility. The visit highlighted the government’s commitment to improving port infrastructure and strengthening Sierra Leone’s position as a key maritime hub in the region.
Dr. Jalloh commended the SLPHA leadership for their efforts in modernizing port operations and reaffirmed the government’s support in ensuring the port remains a vital driver of economic growth and international trade.
